GoodGang Labs is a tech startup founded on a simple yet profound question: "How warm can technology make people feel?" We aim to connect AI and humans on an emotional level and expand technology toward a more human-centered direction. Founder and CEO Dookyung (DK) Ahn began his career at LINE, where he led global camera services such as B612 and Foodie as a product manager. He later joined Meta's headquarters in the U.S., where he led global partnerships for Instagram Stories, collaborating with major tech companies including Apple, Google, Netflix, and Spotify. Through his experience at both LINE and Meta, managing products that reached hundreds of millions of users worldwide, he developed a deep understanding of how technology can connect with human emotions and daily life. That question — "How warm can technology make people feel?" — ultimately became the foundation of GoodGang Labs. Co-founder and CTO Jaechul (JC) Kim is a seasoned technologist and serial entrepreneur who led visual content projects such as Cymera and Rollicam. He previously founded a startup that was selected for the Y Combinator S16 batch, gaining extensive experience in global product development and growth strategy. The two first worked together on Pudding Face Recognition and Pudding Camera, and reunited in 2022 to establish GoodGang Labs. They share the belief that AI should evolve beyond a tool — into something emotional, expressive, and personal.

GoodGang Labs develops an interactive 3D AI avatar engine under the mission, "Connect Human and AI through Avatars." Our technology enables real-time facial expressions, gestures, and voice interaction — all running directly in the browser with no app installation required. This allows AI to express emotions naturally, and people to experience AI as something warm and relatable. Our vision is clear: "Bring your avatars to life."

GoodGang Labs is backed by leading tech companies such as NAVER and Kakao, along with angel investors from Meta, Snap, and Kakao, who bring deep expertise in global technology and design. Good Gang Labs provides a conversational 3D AI avatar platform and API that anyone can easily use through browsers. All components including STT, LLM/SLM, TTS, motion engine, and 3D avatars are modularized, allowing not only self-serving but also easy replacement with developers' preferred models. Integration with external services is easy through APIs, and users can converse with avatars in browsers simply by scanning QR codes without app installation. Additionally, administrators can operate customized avatars by simply configuring personality, voice, and knowledge data through admin tools, expandable to various areas including entertainment, tourism, guidance, and consultation.
